Pactech is a noted innovator in the packaging industry. Here are a few case studies of our work.

CRREO: Pactech, in conjunction with Dow Agro Sciences, worked to replace a rigid child resistant recloseable package with a pouch. Pactech designed a patented slider zipper and retaining mechanism on a pouch that accomplished the objective. We also designed and modified Dow’s pouch-making equipment to manufacture these special bags commercially. Pactech also applies direction for use booklets on the bags for the agricultural chemistry industry.

MEDIA BAGS: In conjunction with Nalge Nunc International, Pactech designed and built a clean environment and RF sealing capability to manufacture media bags for the lab and bio medical marketplace. Pactech selected materials, sealing equipment, tubing, and accessories to introduce a clean-enviroment-produced media bag. These bags feature several different tubing configurations and fitments attached to 500ml, 5L, 10L and 20L bags.

PEN INK DISPENSING: In a complete systems approach for a major customer, Pactech designed materials, fitments, and automatic robotic fitment sealers to manufacture small bags to fit inside pens for the containment and dispersion of correction fluid. This project involved all aspects of the capabilities of Pactech, including managing the integration of the machinery to the Pactech process to produc 6 million fitment bags per year for this application. The bag has worked well to keep correction fluid always moist and fully empy the correction fluid in the pouch.
